Class 1 sound level meter for easy noise assessment
The Optimus+ green is the latest handheld decibel meter from Cirrus Research. The sound meter is available as a class 1 or 2 device, making it ideal for environmental and occupational noise assessment.
The sound level meter uses the latest technology and design techniques to make it simple to use. The device automatically records all noise parameters, so you collect all the data you need, every time.
The device has all the features of the previous Optimus green, with the addition of Bluetooth connectivity. You can easily control the sound level meter from your phone.
Use the free NoiseTools software to download your data and view it on a computer. You can create easy-to-read reports, which you can use as evidence about noise levels at your business.

Features and benefits of the class 1 sound level meter
- 120 decibel range: Measure sound from 20 to 140 decibels. Ideal for occupational and environmental noise assessment.
- Simultaneous noise measurement: The device automatically records all noise levels and parameters. You capture all the information you need, every time.
- Compliant with regulations: Meet OSHA HC and NC, MSHA HC and ACGIH regulations. Also ensures you comply with UK and EU noise at work regulations.
- Four gigabyte memory: Store over 10,000 measurements. Expand the device’s memory to 32 gigabytes for even more storage space.
- High-resolution colour screen and backlit buttons: Use the decibel meter in bright sunlight and at night.
- Bluetooth connectivity: Control your Optimus+ decibel meter with your phone.
- Voice recording functionality: Record 30 second voice notes about the location, weather conditions and other factors.
