Touch screen kiosk for public environments

If you want to engage customers with your brand or provide a public, interactive experience, then a touch screen kiosk is the perfect solution.

VisualPlanet’s PCAP foils allow you to create interactive kiosks for any purpose:

  • Wayfinding: Cities, shopping centres and tourist areas can benefit from touch screen wayfinding kiosks. PCAP screens work through gloves, so the public can use them easily in cold weather.
  • Self-service ticket machines: Speed up a traveller’s journey by providing self-service ticket machines that operate day and night. VisualPlanet’s PCAP foil works through thick, toughened glass to make your touch screen vandal-proof.
  • Interactive retail displays: Enhance the customer’s buying experience and generate increased revenue by providing touch screen shopping points in your stores.
  • Fast food self-ordering points: Increase average order value by providing self-service ordering in your fast food restaurant. PCAP foils work in wet, hot and cold weather. Your kiosks work in all conditions for maximum utilisation and profitability.
  • Interactive museum exhibits: Provide a memorable learning experience with a multi-touch kiosk that responds to 32 touches at the same time. A projected capacitive foil even works on curved glass for the most distinctive touch screen displays.

How do PCAP foils work?

Laminate the PCAP foil to the back of a glass surface and mount it in front of an LCD display. The PCAP foil detects when a person touches the glass.

PCAP foils are available in a range of bespoke sizes and in dual and multi-touch options. You enjoy all the benefits of a custom touch screen kiosk without the cost of investing in new LCD displays.
