Galleon network time sync servers receive the time from satellite sources via a GPS antenna. The antenna communicates with up to 12 satellites for maximum accuracy and reliability. The NTP server then delivers that time to the devices on your network via an Ethernet connection. Thousands of devices can be synchronised from a single server, which allows you to benefit from accurate time across your entire organisation or premises.
Galleon time servers are also far more secure than public, Internet time servers. Public time servers require you to open a port in your firewall, which compromises the security of your network.
