FALCO, the ATEX approved gas detector

Falco [ATEX approved gas detector]

Falco, ATEX approved gas detector

Falco, the ATEX approved gas detector, provides the latest technology in the market. The detector offers ultimate flexibility and the highest accuracy internationally. The Falco is the only fixed gas detector designed for extreme weather. The device incorporates the patented Photoionization Detection (PID) technology for accurate measurements.

The fixed gas detector incorporates ‘Typhoon Technology’, and ‘Fence Electrode Technology’; ensuring reliable operation in extreme weather conditions.

The fixed VOC detector detects a wide range of compounds, and has four different ranges for detection to choose from. The ATEX approved gas detector is available in two models: Pumped and Diffused. The Pumped model is ideal for difficult to reach places, and the Diffused model has lower servicing cost.

The ATEX approved gas detector features the following benefits:

Feature Benefit
Typhoon Technology Safeguards the sensor from condensing moisture, ensuring reliable reading in extreme weather.
Fence Electrode Technology Ensures the detector is resistant to humidity and contamination. This feature minimises drifts (which ensures accurate readings), and extends the lifespan of the device.
Multi coloured LED display Readings can be seen from a distance of 20 meters in sunlight, ensuring that workers and staff are clearly alerted to hazardous environment.
Externally located intrinsically safe sensor Enables quick and easy servicing, eliminating the need for hot work permit.
Dual certifications Enables servicing and calibration in hazardous environments, whilst the power is switched on. This ensure that there are no interruptions in operations and that the staff members are always safe.
Intuitive user interface Five magnetic switches with LED confirmation, high contrast OLED screen, and graphical interface. This ensures quick and easy installation and servicing.
Flexible relay outputs Can be configured for high or low alarms, fault conditions, or test cycle synchronisations.
Fitted with long life lamp Provides two years of continuous use.
