Parallel slide valve for isolating liquid and gas

The valves’ sealing action is generated by pressure, therefore a minimum differential pressure is required for satisfactory application of the product

Benefits of the parallel slide valve

• No wedging is required - The valve uses system pressure and position to provide positive isolation tightness
• The spring fitted between the disc provides the initial sealing factor. Line pressure is then used to maintain the sealing force
• No torque required – Once the disc is in position no additional torque is required to maintain the seal
• The valve is not subjected to dangerous stress levels during the opening/closing action
• The valve requires a smaller operating force
• The sliding action of the valve prevents debris accumulation and the premature damage of the components
• The prevention of debris accumulation helps avoid seat failure, erosion, and leakage in the valve
• The seal is placed on the outlet seat face only
• The valve guarantees a smooth flow path between the seats

Any minor seat distortions can be accommodated for, as the discs have some freedom to align themselves between the seat faces
